ABOUT US
In 1969 nine people, members of a Scout Group, agreed together to purchase an old mill and 20 “Vicenza acres” (about 76,000 sq.metres) of land partly grass and partly wood, in a narrow valley called “Val dei Molini” (Mills Valley) near the village of Fimon, Municipality of Arcugnano, Province of Vicenza, in the heart of the "Colli Berici" (Berici Hills).
Their aim was, and still is, to preserve local environment and to keep it available for educational activities, mainly for scouting.
In 1994 the joint owners and some others (from scouting and other voluntary service organizations) founded the non-profit association AMICI DI VAL DEI MOLINI (Friends of the Mills Valley) , in order to manage the property keeping and developing the original aims.
